Sundays With Us

Worshipping God each week is the spiritual practice that keeps our lives in focus. If you feel far from God, consider making weekly worship a priority. It is difficult to train ourselves to see people and events as God sees them without God’s help. Worship at Forest Lake is traditional, yet relaxed. At 10:00am on Sundays, we offer both in person worship as well as live streaming.  Nice, casual dress is the norm for Sunday worship. Children ages 4 and up are invited to stay in the sanctuary with their parents, and there is a nursery for the youngest ones. See our What to Expect page for more information.

About Us

FOREST LAKE

Located in Forest Acres, a suburb of Columbia, South Carolina: a beautiful, established neighborhood that is close to everything and a great place to live. This is our home base where we begin our mission to live as Disciples of Jesus Christ in the world!

PRESBYTERIAN

We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA), the largest, mainline Presbyterian denomination. This connects us to Reformed theology and history, describes our distinctive pattern of government, and extends the reach of our ministry by being part of a larger missional denomination.

CHURCH

We are a diverse group of people who seek to follow Jesus Christ with our heads, hearts, and hands. We are more concerned about doing something important for the Kingdom of God than about being someone important. We are mission-minded and community-oriented. We are authentic but not perfect.

Our Ministries

Forest Lake Presbyterian Church is convinced that faith grows by doing. We are committed to helping you find ways to serve God that helps your faith grow. We teach our children and youth about God’s love and claim that for ourselves, and we live out that love in service to the community. Find out more about our programs for children, youth, adults, music, service, environmental stewardship, and Stephen Ministry.
