Sunday Morning Faith Formation

Faith Formation classes (9 AM on Sundays before 10 AM worship): Beginning September 12, adults will have two in-person class options. The Family Class is using the new intergenerational Follow Me curriculum from PC (USA), and the new FLPConversations class will begin with lessons from the Wired Word.

Small Groups

Small Group Connections: Studying Scripture is the backbone of our growth in faith as a community of Christ. H3 Groups (as in Head, Heart, Hands), FLPC's small group ministry, includes Bible study, book studies, and discussion groups based on approved curriculum. They are ongoing throughout the year.

We normally have other groups ongoing as well, such as lunch groups, a sewing collaborative, and a day trip group. While COVID has changed the way these groups meet, we are regularly reevaluating to determine what we can offer. The best way to find out what is going on is to check our weekly enews or our News and Events.

Men’s and Women’s’ Groups

Presbyterian Women: Every woman is welcome to participate in any PW activity. Women of all ages have the opportunity to become involved in small groups (called Circles) that meet monthly, September - May during the day and evening. (These Circle meet at different times to accommodate personal schedules.) Circles enjoy caring friendships with each other, spiritual enrichment through prayer and Bible study and actively supporting local missions. Faith and fellowship are further nurtured by attending a midweek retreat at the beach in the fall and an overnight winter retreat at Camp Fellowship on Lake Greenwood.

Men’s Bible Study: All men are invited to join in this ongoing weekly Bible study. This group meets over a homemade breakfast at church, and enjoy time together in study and prayer.
