Forest Lake Presbyterian Church has been active in its mission of Environmental Stewardship since 2005. We were the first Presbyterian Church (USA) in South Carolina to be designated an “Earth Care” congregation by the national PCUSA Earth Care Ministry and were selected as the recipient of the Presbyterians for Earth Care national 2015 Restoring Creation Award. We strive to improve our sustainability with eco-justice; recycling; composting; and conservation of resources, water, and energy. You can bring the following to church for recycling any time: used inkjet printer cartridges, dental hygiene products/packaging, shaving/razor products, and used contact lenses and related packaging. See the bins in the Recycling Closet (downstairs beside library entrance) for details on what items are accepted.
