The Education Ministry is currently finalizing the Fall 2026 Sunday school lineup, and as we prepare for Rally Day on September 13, please note the following:
We are moving Sunday school faith formation to Sunday evenings only for elementary/JV FLY (K5-5) and FLY (6-12) students. Sunday night programming for these students is now 5:30-7:00 PM with the same format as previous years: Dinner, a Bible lesson, and fellowship/service. Also note we are now making Sunday night a “family night” with a FREE dinner for EVERYONE AND adult programming. The nursery will be open on Sunday nights.
Why are we doing this? Although we adjusted the Sunday school time to 9 AM (previously 11 AM) with the goal of better attendance, we have not seen attendance gains for our students and families. Attendance for Sunday evening FLY and JV FLY is much stronger, and based on feedback from some of our most involved parents and families, the Education Ministry believes Sunday night is a better option for our students and families. We also want to build community among our families and believe this new approach can help.
On Sunday mornings, we will still open the nursery at 9 AM (closing after worship) and will have adult classes at 9 AM and 11 AM.
