Who doesn’t want justice?
We are good news people. FLPC is a partner with MORE Justice (Midlands Organized Response for Equity and Justice). As we begin this 10th year as a member congregation, please join us in this important community work. Attend a house meeting either Tuesday, August 25, 6pm or Sunday, August 30 following worship.
Meetings are 1 ½ hours and focus on our own stories of where we’d like to change our community. We get to know each other, and learn more about how to organize our community to accomplish that change. For more information:

MORE Justice is a local non-profit challenging us to think about how we care for the “least of these” among us. How do hourly wage workers afford a safe place to live? How can our low-income elderly widows, who can’t afford a car, get healthy food to eat? How do we reduce gun violence in our community so that everyone is safer? The answers to these questions are not simple or easy and require community effort.
