Did you know that the ancient Chinese game of Mahjong is making a resurgence throughout the country? If you have always wanted to learn or are merely curious – the opportunity to learn to play is available to FLPC and friends! Suzanne O’Dell, a certified Mahjong Instructor, is hosting a learn to play event on Thursday, June 5th from 1:00-3:30 at the church. The cost is $20 a person and it includes orientation and instruction followed by guided game play. The class is capped at 8 people but if more are interested a second class will be put on the books! This class is open to men and women and even high school FLY members are certainly welcome! Yes – you can bring a friend from outside FLPC who would like to come.
