Join us for a gleaning weekend with the
Society of St Andrew. This trip to Fayetteville, NC will allow our group to experience hands on activities rescuing good quality food to share with people in need. We will glean food (picking produce from an area farm) and deliver to local hunger relief groups and/or local residents. We’ll learn more about the root causes of poverty, food insecurity, and solutions. Come be part of the solution! This is an intergenerational trip – all ages are welcome! Cost for the weekend is $175 per person. Contact Jodi Beckham with questions. Come to an information meeting on Sunday, July 19, 11:00 in room 205 to learn more.
