International Holocaust Remembrance Day – Sunday, February 1st!

FLPC, The Columbia Holocaust Education Commission, and the Abraham’s Table Podcast are partnering to bring a special event to Forest Lake Presbyterian Church. On Sunday, February 1st, following our worship and our congregational meeting, The Columbia Holocaust Education Commission (CHEC) will provide lunch for all who register, and the members of Abraham’s Table Podcast will hold a panel discussion on the theme “Seeking Hope.” Doyle Stevick, The Executive Director of the Anne Frank Center, at USC, will moderate the discussion. It is important to remember the Holocaust so that we can stand be upstanders for justice and compassion and not bystanders to evil.
