Would you be interested in hosting Fort Jackson trainees on Christmas Day? These trainees who remain on base during Christmas have elected by their own choosing not to go home or they may not have wanted to use leave days so they could save them for another occasion, or perhaps didn’t have the funds to travel home, or simply had no place to go. We are asking for interested families to host 2 trainees since the trainees learn on their first day here never to go anywhere without a “Battle Buddy,” but you can support up to 4 if possible. You are asked to pick them up between 9-10am Christmas day and return them to base no later than 5pm.
