Our 2026 Lent theme is “Walking in the Way of Jesus: A New Way,” which partially originated from these words from the Apostle Paul: “So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; look, new things have come into being!’ (2 Corinthians 5:17). This Lent, we’re invited to think about the “new (Christ) way,” and each Sunday we’ll discuss a particular Scripture that challenges us to live differently.
The attached guide includes the Scripture we’ll read each Sunday during worship and corresponding reflection questions. Plus, you’ll see an opportunity to participate in a new Lenten prayer practice for The Decker Collective and a “Drive for 584” that benefits the food pantry at Rehoboth Methodist Church.
